It's perfect for a hot spring day, and it's easy to make at home. It will boost your energy reserves quite a bit. To make iced orange tea, start by brewing a strong pot of black tea. Then, add orange juice to taste. You can also add sugar or honey, if desired.
Iced Orange Spiced Tea
1 Orange Peel
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Whole Clove
2 Tbsp. Black Tea
4 Cups of Water
Orange Juice (Optional)
In a small saucepot add the 2 tbps. of Black Teas alongside the orange peel, cinnamon and clove. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir to combine.
Once boiling remove from heat.
Allow the tea to steep for approximately 3-5 minutes before straining through a fine-mesh strainer to separate solids.
Fill the glasses with ice. Pour in the steeped tea approximately 3/4 full, leaving enough room for the orange juice.
Let the majority of the ice melt before serving.
