Due to the increasing popularity of chai, coffee chains in the US started serving it on their menus. Even though it doesn't taste exactly like Indian chai, it's close enough. We are going to show you how to make as close to the original as possible. It is a great choice for replacing coffee in the morning.
We will be using our own blend of Chai which has a lot of spices inside in order to make a more authentic taste.

1 cup water
⅓ cup milk
1 teaspoon Red Chai Spice
¼ inch ginger grated
2 green cardamom
sweetener to taste (sugar or honey)
Start by peeling the cardamom and taking out the seeds. Crush them using a mortar & pestle.
Heat the water in a pan. Medium heat.
Continue by adding the grated ginger & crushed cardamom seeds.
When the water is hot enough, add the milk and also the sweetener.
Allow for the spices and milk to come to boil.
Add the tea leaves and simmer for a minute or two. Continue simmering for a stronger chai.
Strain the chai into the cup using a strainer.
Serve warm and with cookies.
