Ginger Lemon Tea

The most effective natural cure for a sore throat and mild cold may consist of ginger, lemon, and honey. Using fresh ingredients alongside with loose-leaf green tea is recommended for the best results. Keep in mind that fresh ginger root has a richer flavor and a more warming sensation than dried ginger root.
Ginger Lemon Green Tea
Today we are making a tea that everybody should try in this cold autumn and winter weather. It has a lot of health benefits if you have a cold or a sore throat. For this particular recipe we are going to use loose-leaf green tea combined with mint. You can purchase it directly from our store. Let get into it.
1 fresh lemon
- 2 cups of water
1 tbsp. of green tea
Start by peeling the ginger and cut it into slices
Wash the lemon and cut it into thin slices
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil
Add the sliced ginger and lemon into a saucepan and simmer over low-medium heat for about 10 minutes
Let it cool down for 5 minutes, then add the green tea
Let it steep for 3 minutes
Add honey for a sweet taste if desired
