CINNAMON TEA RECIPE
In this recipe we are showing an easy-to-make a delicious and healthy cup of Cinnamon tea. It takes less than ten minutes and it is a great choice for an afternoon cup of tea with a friend. This recipe combines the countless health benefits of cinnamon and Assam black tea into a tasty remedy that will keep you warm these winter days. With just three ingredients it is an easy-to-make tea for any tea lover.
Ingredients for two servings:
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp Assam leaf tea
- honey to taste
- 2 lemon slices
Directions:
- Fill a large teapot with just-boiled water to warm it and set aside. Heat 20oz water in a pan with a cinnamon stick until boiling.
- Turn off the heat, add the Assam tea leaves to the hot cinnamon water and leave to steep for 1-2 mins. Remove the cinnamon stick.
- Empty the teapot and strain the tea into it. Serve with honey to sweeten to taste.
- Add the lemon peel.
- Enjoy it while warm.
